Scuba Diving in April
on the Costa del Sol
Warm spring days (18–23°C), plenty of sunshine, calm seas. Easter holidays bring the first wave of diving families.
April is arguably the best month to dive the Costa del Sol. The water hits that sweet spot — 15–17°C, warm enough for a 5mm wetsuit, cool enough that marine life is abundant and active. Visibility regularly reaches 20 meters, giving you that crystal-clear Mediterranean experience you see in magazines. Easter brings families from across Europe, and our intro dives are the highlight of their holiday. If you're thinking about getting PADI certified, April offers ideal conditions: comfortable water, excellent visibility, calm seas, and enough time to complete your course before the summer crowds arrive. Ludo and the team are at their best in spring — energised and ready to share the underwater world with you.
