June is pure Mediterranean summer diving. Water temperatures hit 19–22°C — a 3mm wetsuit or even a shorty is all you need. The days are long, the sun is strong, and the sea is warm and welcoming. This is our busiest month for intro dives — families on holiday discover that their kids absolutely love breathing underwater. Visibility settles at a reliable 12–20m, and the reefs are bustling with life. Damselfish guard their nests, octopus hunt at dusk, and if you book an evening dive, you might catch the dolphins that feed along the coast at sunset. June is also night dive season — our most requested specialty. Diving the reefs after dark reveals a completely different world: lobsters, crabs, and bioluminescent plankton. Book early — June weekends sell out weeks in advance.

What to Expect in June

Summer is here. Air temperatures hit 24–30°C, and the water is gloriously warm at 19–22°C. A 3mm wetsuit or shorty is perfect. All sites are accessible with calm, predictable conditions. Visibility is good but not peak — the plankton bloom can reduce it slightly, which is actually great news for filter feeders and the food chain. Night dives become available. This is peak family season — book at least 2 weeks ahead.
